Vararuchi is an AI tutor and personalized learning platform built by Devarua Labs. It brings a full learning operating system to one place at vararuchi.com — adaptive AI tutoring, structured learning paths, advanced mathematics, language practice and career preparation.

Who builds Vararuchi

Vararuchi is built by one person. I'm Devadath H K, and Devarua Labs is my company — a GST-registered business in Palakkad, Kerala. I design the product, write the code, run the AI systems and the Android app, and answer the support email myself.

A one-person company is not something to hide on a page like this. It means the person who reads your feedback is the person who fixes it, and that nothing here is handed to someone you will never hear from. It also means Vararuchi is small — and it is better to say that plainly than to borrow credibility it has not earned yet.

Where Vararuchi is today

Vararuchi launched in 2026 and is early. A small group of learners use it today. The web app is live at vararuchi.com, and the Android app is in Google Play testing ahead of its public release. There are no investors and no outside funding.

Our name

The platform is named after Vararuchi, the legendary scholar of ancient India celebrated in Kerala tradition and associated with Sanskrit grammar and learning. The name reflects what we build: patient, rigorous, deeply personal teaching. Our motto — “What the first stroke cannot awaken, persistence will” — is a promise that mastery comes from steady, guided effort.

Our educational approach

Vararuchi is built on three convictions. First, structure beats willpower: learners don't fail from laziness, they fail from not knowing what to do next — so every tool ends in a concrete next step. Second, testing is learning: practice, review and retrieval are built into the core of the platform, not bolted on. Third, AI should teach the method, not hand over answers: our tools default to worked explanations because a copied answer helps nobody on exam day.

One app, on the web and on Android. The same codebase runs at vararuchi.com and as a native Android app, and your progress follows you between them.
Seven tools under one account — Knowledge Mastery, OmniMath, AI Photo Solver, Language AI, AI Career Coach, Exam Mode and the Progress Hub.
28 languages, 13 of them Indian, with stroke-by-stroke handwriting practice for scripts from Devanagari and Malayalam to Japanese and Arabic.
Exam preparation for JEE, NEET, UPSC, SAT, GRE and GMAT.
AI that fails safely. Requests go through a model router that falls back to another model when one fails, and every request is metered.
More than 1,900 automated tests cover the app, from payments and refunds to keeping your progress in sync across devices.

Trust and accountability

A registered business. Devarua Labs is GST-registered in Kerala, and our GSTIN is printed on every invoice.
Payments. Web payments are processed by Razorpay; we never receive or store card numbers. Every purchase comes with a GST invoice, and refunds follow our published refund policy.
Your data. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 run in a child-safe mode with no behavioural tracking, and we do not use your learning data or uploads to train AI models. Details are in our privacy policy.
Leaving. You can delete your account from Settings, from our public account deletion page, or by email.
Complaints. Under India's IT Rules 2021 we have a named Grievance Officer — see the Contact page.

Responsible AI

Vararuchi is honest about what AI is. It can explain with endless patience, but it can also make mistakes — so we show our working, encourage verification, and never claim perfect accuracy, guaranteed exam results or guaranteed jobs. Career guidance is guidance. Solutions are teaching aids. The learning is still yours to do.

Great tutoring should not be a luxury. Vararuchi exists to give every learner — a school student in Kerala, a JEE/NEET/UPSC aspirant putting in volume practice, a professional switching careers, a language learner anywhere in the world — a tutor that adapts to how they learn, remembers where they struggled and never runs out of patience.
